BRIAN EBURAH Jewellery

Brian studied jewellery design at Central School of Art and Design, London from 1973-76. After this he set up his own workshop with in a group workshop in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire.

Since 1976 he has worked with refractory metals, mainly titanium and niobium, incorporated with other metals. His designs are based on fluid, natural forms using simple techniques to produce a highly decorative finish. He has developed a technique of texturing the metal surface, combined with several steps of anodising, which gives an intricate colouring to the finished article. Each piece is unique as it is hand finished and individually coloured. He has also transferred his ideas into working with silver, gold and stones, texturing and polishing metal to give a contrasting effect. Decorative detail is added to silver using gold with precious and semi-precious stones.

Since 1980 Brian lived and worked in Rugby, but moved to Pembrokeshire to set up a new jewellery studio in 2003.
