HARRY CHARLES TIM

Harry Charles Tim is an artist of extraordinary zeal and inventiveness, whose canvases, whether large or small, are packed with stories, ideas and a use of colour and draughtsmanship not seen since the days of Francis Bacon.
Born in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1956 Harry was educated at Hugh Clopton Secondary Modern School.

At the age of sixteen he joined the army where he saw active service, with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, in Northern Ireland and elsewhere, which was an experience that has undoubtedly affected his art.

In 1987, after military service, Harry began to travel the world, eventually settling in Germany where he dealt in antiques and fine art.

Harry currently has several of his paintings on exhibition in Bonn, and has recently sold several works in aid of local charities.
