ALISON BELL
Alison's skills are those of a traditional figurative sculptor, learned over fifteen years, working on large and small portraits for private and civic clients. She studied at Glasgow School of Art and The University of Glasgow.
She makes portraits of people from all walks of life, young and old and occasionally sculpts animal portraits.
’I try to understand and express the true nature of my subject, as well as capture their physical likeness. I enjoy getting to know my sitter and try to make the process of sculpting both enjoyable and collaborative’.
