Every piece is designed by Ellie and brought to life using traditional silversmithing techniques, so you know that this is truly unique handmade jewellery of the finest craftsmanship that pays intricate attention to detail. The intimate and uplifting designs in each Bug collection echo Ellies life passions. Inspired by love and life, she shares her story through miniature silver delights!
After graduating from a BA Jewellery and Silversmithing degree at The School of Jewellery in 2010, Bug began its journey from a very chilly, slightly disorganized garage and has grown to where it is today. Unsure of a path to take after leaving university, Ellie started making a handful of designs for friends and family in her spare time. The jewellery went down a treat and as more orders came in she took the leap to concentrating on Bug full time. The start of 2014 saw Ellie relocate to a new workshop in the Jewellery Quarter and Bug continues to go from strength to strength, while still keeping the quirky ethos behind each piece of handmade jewellery.
