JOLENE SMITH

Jolene Smith was born in Walsall. She gained a City and Guilds: Jewellery Design and model making in 1983 from City of Birmingham Polytechnic. Since then she has been producing some of the most innovative designs in British jewellery. Her unique style is inspired by natural forms and tribal patterns. Her designs take their influences from her travels around the world. Ancient worlds and modern times collide to bring you a handmade feel with quality assurance. Eye-catchingly, unmistakable individual pieces for any occasion.

Jolene’s techniques include melting silver, fusing brass and silver, carving and generally distressing the metal.

Her work has been exhibited internationally and nationally and she has won several business and art awards.

She has used her practical experience to teach jewellery and related arts to a wide variety of students on various courses and workshops.
