MENARD JEWELLERY
Everything started with antique jewellery. Gisela and Detlef Menard started their business in 1981 and started selling antiques in 1982. Her philosophy for the company with the subtitle "PASSÉ & AKTUELL": In the search for something new, do not forget the old.
After the first successful years, the search for new things continued. Because nothing stops. Over the years, Gisela and Detlef Menard have expanded their collection by bringing together forms, functionality and quality.
Today
Many products have changed since the beginning, but the idea of constantly developing new things, taking into account already existing knowledge, lives on. We support the local craft and try, where possible, to source our materials from original sources (eg Murano glass).
Everything here is about the special clasp. We offer the retailer a large variety of models and can respond to individual customer requests - in terms of material, surface and colour. The result is a variety of necklaces in different shapes and colours made of materials such as Murano glass, pearls or stones. In addition, there are rings, hoops, earrings, Einhängeclipse and bracelets.
A sure feeling for shapes and trends shows up in ever new additions to our existing collections.
Most models are pattern protected and are produced in Germany. Products from workshops of our European neighbours such as Italy and France complete our program.
Future
The keywords entrepreneurial responsibility and sustainability are for us a natural development of society and the corporate world. In the jewellery industry, however, the topic is still in its infancy in terms of industry-wide standards. In the future, we want to increasingly source raw materials from sustainable sources, because we want to keep an eye on the future of future generations.
This not only affects our products, we understand sustainability as a holistic concept and challenge. That is why we are trying to find more sustainable solutions at all levels and are actively on our way: Sustainable raw materials, environmentally friendly packaging materials and carbon-neutral shipping options are just a few of the aspects that we want to push on step by step.
