Michelle Hall
Michelle Hall is based near Glastonbury where she has her Studio. She gained a BA(hons) in Fine Art after completing a BTEC National Diploma in Art & Design.
Michelle begins work by referring to her sketches made from life together with back up reference photographs to maintain accuracy when modeling. Her sculptures are constructed from clay or sculpting wax and often incorporate found objects. These finished 'working' sculptures are then transferred into bronze in collaboration with her local foundry using the 'lost wax' process. Michelle takes great care in choosing the finish and patination to finally complete her pieces.
